Subject: toxic cookies

East central Iowa

I ran across some articles stating that girl scout cookies contained arsenic, heavy metals and glyphosate.  I looked for confirmation in other sources and they confirmed the presence of those items, but they made two claims.  The amount wasn't significant and the girl scouts claim they were within the allowed amounts by the FDA.

I also found this comment that made me chuckle; ""Looking at the Peanut Butter Patties' lead level, a child would have to eat close to seven cookies in a day to exceed the FDA reference value for dietary intake of lead. Most children don't eat seven or more cookies per day," said Katarzyna Kordas, PhD, an associate professor of epidemiology and environmental health at the University at Buffalo School of Public Health."

As if the professor thinks anybody only eat a couple of Oreo's and quits.  If you sit at any of the fast food purveyors and watch the stream of customers you won't see any skinny people or salad orders.
