First of all thanks for your reply.

From my understanding, I agree with your very complete summary of what Ag Finiti with an Internet connection to the cloud can do. I also agree with the features that the free, no licenses, no internet arrangement with Ag Finiti Mobile can do.

The extra features that you mention are extremely powerful and would be vital to some operations. I do not see the need nor the usefulness as much for our operation.

I do not have internet access in the tractor or combine. I choose to use a GPS 7500 unlocked and subscribed to TerraStar Pro C. I have been very impressed with TerraStar Pro C and it simply works without the concern for any other problems with other higher end correction sources. I have been told that going with a MN CORS arrangement and an RTK unlock would save money in the long run.

Also I do not do detailed analysis which I probably should. In fact, I don't bother to run my data through SMS. I print the maps from the Ag Finiti Mobile App directly to my printer (planting, spraying and harvest) and use them. My Great Nephew's advisor takes the data from the InCommand and runs it through his copy of SMS for him.

I really don't feel that the yearly expense of the Essentials license and the need for Internet is justified in our situation. Any time I have asked Ag Leader about just using Ag Finiti Mobile the way I do, I get the blank response of like "you shouldn't be doing that". Possibly there are only a few folks (maybe none?) that are using Ag Finiti Mobile as I am.

My hope was there is someone out there who has discovered a method for housekeeping. I'm thinking at the moment that after this year. I might uninstall Ag Finiti Mobile App and reinstall another version of it as a method to get rid of old fields and years that I am no longer interested in.

I suppose another approach would be to purchase a second iPad, install the Ag Finiti Mobil App on it and use it in the future. That way my original iPad would still have the "old" version and data on it. It just doesn't seem that should be necessary.
