I hate erosion. If I had ground prone to strip blowouts, I’d use one of the single coulter units that are available that create minimal disturbance, to deep place band the fertilizer. And even then, I’d do whatever it takes to avoid running straight up and down the slope. There once was, and maybe still is, an NRCS CRP type program available that paid to take land out of production, and seed down buffer strips strategically placed parallel to the slope. Slopes are a challenge for sure.
