AgFiniti Essentials license enables:
- DisplayCast
- Ability to see your file data on maps
- Realtime locator on map
- Control an InCommand remote support session (but you don't have to be licensed to *receive* a remote support session on the display)
- Sync files with other brands via integrations
- CartACE
- Prescription management
- Simple analysis
- Increased cloud storage for files
- Sync files between AgFiniti and AgFiniti Mobile (the iPad app)
- See soil survey data in AgFiniti
But you do not have to have an Essentials license to do these things:
- Automatic firmware update checking on display
- Background satellite imagery on display
- Receive an InCommand remote support session (but not controlling)
- Sync your files between InCommand and AgFiniti (via wifi)
- Sync your files from InCommand to AgFiniti Mobile on iPad
- View your files (synced from InCommand) as a map on AgFiniti Mobile (but you cannot view the maps on AgFiniti (Cloud or App) and cannot sync data between AgFiniti Mobile and AgFiniti)
- Sync your files between SMS and AgFiniti (because your SMS Basic or Advanced license gives you that ability)
I personally subscribe to Essentials because I need to be able to remotely support people on my farm who are using InCommand (so that I can see their display remotely). That this also gives me DisplayCast and the ability to sync files between AgFiniti Cloud and AgFiniti Mobile is also a nice benefit. If I didn't care about performing remote support, or DisplayCast, then I'd probably not subscribe to Essentials, because SMS lets me do all of the map stuff (and more). To me this is all a bit ridiculous; AgFiniti and SMS should be a bundled license, and eliminate all of the licensing confusion.
Ted - I also know of no way to do what you ask, but that's because I subscribe to Essentials - so AgFiniti Mobile behaves differently for me. For me, I can have it get maps from InCommand just as you do, but then it turns around and sync it to AgFiniti Cloud - so my iPad and AgFiniti Cloud are theoretically always in sync. I suspect that if I were to delete files from AgFiniti Cloud, then they would also be removed from AgFiniti Mobile. (And I know that if I were to delete AgFiniti Mobile and reinstall it, my data would be re-downloaded from AgFiniti Cloud.) |
