East Palestine, OH | We stripped for about 10 years,loved it on normal years. Learned hard way on fall strips. Then moved to spring only and yes on “wetter” springs challenge. Either washed (sandy soil)or all water collected in strips and had to wait longer to get into fields (heavier clay)as compared to full tillage and no til guys here eastern Ohio. Towards end of our venture in stripping. We ran packer over strips after made. | |
