Have seen same issues, don’t have a remedy yet. Worst I have had is fall strips then got 2 feet of wet snow on ground that wasn’t frozen, strips washed out under the snow. For me it amounts to about 1% of my acres so more of a nuisance than anything. Cover crop, contours, no till about the only solutions and none of those are a cure all either.
