Subject: Strip Till Washing

NE Iowa
I have had my farm custom strip tilled the last two years with a soil warrior in the spring on bean ground. Last year it was strip tilled and planted in great conditions. Everything was looking great the strips were mellow and planted great. Then in NE Iowa it started raining a lot and the strips started washing. My farm is not flat. It has some slope.
This year again I had it strip tilled on bean ground when it was dry and the strips looked great. Now we have had several inches of rain and the strips are starting to wash again. This time it is not planted so I can make some corrections and move forward. The strips do not have much of a berm and I am wondering if that is some of the issue. We were also very dry both years before the big rains. Is the dryness making the soil so loose that is some of the issue as well?

I am looking for ideas how to correct this or if I need to give up on strip till. I really like the idea of having fertility right below the plant and not tilling in between, but I hate to see the washing.
