Interested in more information on the metal meat grinder you purchased for the KitchenAid. I have the plastic one and it's cracked on the back. I'm wondering if the other attachments that use the grinder body will work with the metal one. I have the strainer and pasta plates specifically.
My guess would be, probably not. The grinder attachment that I found is not a Kitchen Aid brand, I'd be surprised if parts interchanged-but then again, they may all come out the same factory door with different labels on the boxes. I looked on Amazon again after this thread started, and metal meat grinder attachments are still under $40.
