| put a 2x4 0n the bottom of the track rail.loosen the grease fitting on the trask adj.and back up--keep adding wood until slack adjuster is collapsed.should be enough room to get the roller out with the machine jacked up.you can also drill a hole(1/4)" in the roller frame on either side and put some oil in and let it soak.heat the head of the cap screws red hot then hit them with a sledge to release their tension.let them cool till they are warm then put a 1" impact wrench on and break them loose.if they start out reverse the wrench a time or two and less damage will occour to the threads.watch the hot oil that follows the cap screw out of the roller frame.tap the holes out if its an older machine.good luck === dogbone | |
