Subject: RE: Feed/Mixer wagon question

The easiest and cheapest answer to your question is a John Deere chuck wagon. A model 112 or 115. I have several of them and they feed any ration I could possibly think of. Some rations are just solid dry hay and they’re great. My smallest one is a 4 ton capacity. My largest one is about eight. They’re really simple, just bushings and chains. No bearings and crap to go wrong with them. They load from a skid steer just fine. I hate those big modern harsh mixers. They are Thousands of dollars and my 500 dollar chuck wagons do the same damn thing and mix just as nice.

My grandfather bought his first one (still have it) and pulled it with a Farmall H. All ours have scales built into them.
