| I’m going to add a mixer wagon this summer and would like to hear your opinions. Listed below are the criteria of my operation.
1. Would buy a cheaper used one
2. Would be loaded with a skidsteer & tractors
3. Parts of the year would be corn silage based rations
4. Other times of the year it could be hay based rations
5. Would mix commodities together and run out in a pile to load cake boxes on pick-ups.
6. Will the mixer take hay that has been through a processor or does it have to be ground?
7. 75-100 hp mfwd tractor would be used
Will be used for feeding 2 pens of fats, stockers on grass, backgrounders in lots and cows on grass. So I have a little bit of everything.
