Assuming then my problem is I am not able to download the newest version of Agfiniti. It says I need IOS 16, and my ipad is so old it will not install past IOS 15, so the app it downloads is a previous version.
That may be your problem. My "few years old" iPad Pro is new enough that it is running iPadOS Verison 16.7.10. I believe I am running Ag Finiti Mobile Version 10.8 which seems the same (but may have added features) as I have used in the past.
My planting maps from this year and maps from previous years appear to be present and correct.
When I look through the Information section on the App Store, it indicates that this version is compatible with my iPad. I suspect that may indicate that yours is not.
For what it's worth, I have been happy purchasing refurbished iPhones from a online source called Back Market. If you decide to purchase a newer model that may be an option for you.
