But you have an OVERALL trade surplus. How hard is that to understand? It doesn't matter if you have deficits with a few people but if your deficits are larger than your total surplus you are not gaining wealth. The US does not have a trade surplus at all. They have a 1 trillion dollar trade deficit overall.
