Well that’s what I was thinking of doing, turning my y diverters and drilling it on 15 inch rows. According to my figures I’m going to be putting on about 8-9 pounds. Shooting for about 125,000, I’m in west central Missouri so not typical Milo county but shooting for 150 bushel Milo.


Better put a small sprocket on the drive shaft from the hydraulic motor and a big sprocket on the driven shaft. Otherwise the motor will turn too slow and give you an error message for low rpms.

We always changed our seed meter for milo, but ran into the low rpm problem on some other cover crops that were seeded at low rates with the high volume meter in.
