Wabash county,Il | Put out about 20 acres of Italian ryegrass and 16 acres of triticale plus last fall and as you would guess it’s prime ready and we’ve been wet. With a very small window we played 11 acres of the rye down this afternoon to bale and wrap Monday before the next 3 day rain event. I planted crimson clover with it hoping to boost the protein but you have to search to find any. Hopefully we can get the rest down next weekend.
