Pittsburg, Kansas | When I was in Arizona two or three years ago and did the thing breathing steam and the hydrogen peroxide I had already taken the ivermectin as soon as I had symptoms. But it appeared I was coming down with it pretty quick. Knowing that going into a hospital and getting intubated on a breathing machine and some of the drugs they were giving at the time was almost a death sentence. So I definitely did not want it to go down into my lungs from my sinus and the head. And my understanding at the time is that is what it did. Started out as a head cold then migrated down into the lungs. Once established in the lungs that is when a person got in big trouble.
I had been doing some research about nebulizing. I tried to find a nebulizer locally in Arizona and could not find one at any drug store that I was aware of. I could get one on Amazon but I was at the stage that I could feel it in my throat and thought time was of the essence. Amazon would have taken a day or two to get it. So I did some on line searches for a recipe and read about people of old time just using boiling water (cooled enough so it does not burn the airway when breathing) and draping a towel over the head and the pot of water with hydrogen peroxide added. An old time old school method, nothing fancy. I did that and for all I know it worked to keep it out of my lungs. Or so the theory goes at least. Maybe my immune system was just so strong and robust I just rejected the crap out of my body and anything I did was just busy work (being diabetic I presumably was one susceptible to covid more so than "healthy" people). I will never know for sure. But I kept riding the RZR in the desert and got over the croup whatever it was so I was good with it whatever did or did not happen and would do it again if I thought needed.
Like I said, if it was placebo effect, it sure worked good for me. Maybe I just need to ask my doctor for a prescription of placebo pills. :-)
