north-central Indiana west of Fulton | From reading Ag Talk the last few days, it appears many across the Midwest have been experiencing rain to hamper field work. We did get shut down at one point yesterday, but back at it today with only a trace. The radar made it look like extensive coverage …. but don’t know what anyone ended up getting.
I’ve been no tilling soybeans with the Hiniker seeder ….. which I always mention is one of my favorite jobs. About the 11th or 12th year on a 20 year old 4836. We are squeezing all we can out of it before we get something better. It’s just so easy to operate. I can plant without needing any help while the boys plant corn.
That’s rather simple too…. one pass with a Caseih 330 and planting with a 10 year old 3200 Kinze.
