Alton, Ia | We've gone to all Greenleaf nozzles, (TDXL & TDAF), over 10 years ago I found some independent research on drift and coverage, their TDXL ranked the best for regular flat fans. Becks did a study how much better the TADF nozzles were compared to XR flat fan, which I'm not sure is a super good study because there are better nozzles than a flat fan for coverage, but anyway, TADF was about 50% better on ROI. With Liberty coverage matters like for fungicide, so I think it's comparable data.
With a regular system, it's going to be tough to have one nozzle do well at 10 gpa 5 mph and 20 gpa at 8. The AM110025 at 10 gpa, 5 mph will be a coarse drop, 20 psi, but to use same nozzle at 20 gpa you'll have to go to 90 psi, 5.5 mph tops, fine drops. For the time savings, we'd have two sets here.
Plus every time I push the limit on nozzle pressure I find out some hose or clamp somewhere on my sprayer was not up to the task.
If you have to drive an hour, Dultmeiers will probably be cheaper and the box will be on your doorstep Monday, probably.
