Franklinton, LA | The herbicide will work a lot better if it is applied within 48 hours of cutting the tree.
Will it be possible to cut 2 or 3" off the stump before applying the herbicide?
Plan "B" would be to drill some 1/2 - 3/4" dia. holes 3-4" deep in the stump and filling them with herbicide. I like to drill the holes about 2" from the edge of the stump and use one hole per 4" of tree diameter.
I have had good luck pouring undiluted Roundup or 2,4-D into the holes and then painting the entire stump. | |
