That's not what the OP says or their dealer says. Maybe none of them are any good, then there is no reason to buy new, if they're not reliable. I would rather send my wife or daughter out with a crew cab toter truck like the one I posted a pic of, proven drivetrain and much safer. Also people that pull big camper with semis report better fuel mileage than pickups.
The biggness of pulling a heavy 36' horse/show trailer should not be overlooked, and a pickup with dual rear tires should be seriously considered, and those toter trucks like you suggested would be even better.
Pulling a huge horse trailer with single rear tires has the same risks as pulling heavy fertilizer or machinery trailers....at some point, the load requires a bigger truck to be safer. |
