| I would recommend an extended jar test first at least as long as you plan on storing hot load. I try to only mix what I’ll use that day. I have had generic bifenthrin lfc precipatate out the zn in starter out of mix after several days in a jar. It was fine for a day but would not remix correctly by shaking jar. Premixing lfc with equal amounts of water before adding to starter made the hot load remix satisfactory for a few days.
Every load/product can be different. I would have hated to have a tankful of mix that reacted the way my jar test reacted with slime particles what would not mix or slime screens.
Short answer is I do it for short periods with jar testing first. I had to toss several quart jars of “jar test” mistakes out one year due to incompatibility that didn’t show up until around the third day when it wouldn’t remix. I’ve stored small amounts in a tote (in heated shed) and been ok but never counted on the insecticide being active the next year. | |
