Lesson learned don't believe any picture that is posted.
The same is quickly becoming true of videos as well, and AI will be automating this fake stuff faster than we can sort it out. Neil Degrasse Tyson made the statement that AI will be the death of the internet as we know it. When we can no longer trust the majority of the content we see as being true, a lot of people will just quit using the internet altogether for news and entertainment.
For example, imagine if half of the posters on Cafe and TP&P are just extremely realistic bots who are being sponsored by Bill Gates and other similar-minded people. Those bots could change your view of the ag world without even realizing that you're being fed a bunch of baloney. Every one of those bots could have its own personality, writing style, hot-button topics, level of intelligence, political bias, and a complete back-story. It would be nearly impossible to figure out who's real and who's not.
Well, the reality is we got along better as a society pre internet and cell phone. I certainly could live without either. Cell phone without internet would still be handy. Could go to a nice restaurant and see couples on date night actually conversing again vs both having noses buried in Facebook. Our kids have become addicted to their phones.
