 Embarrass WI | Girlfriend has a Kitchen Aid stand mixer. I bought a meat grinder attachment for that. Found one on Amazon that is made out of metal rather than plastic. IIRC, the one I got was $35-40 about 2 years ago.
Guy I know has a "commercial" unit from Cabelas, works good but was in excess of $500.
I ground a lot of meat with an old hand grinder that's been in the family since forever. Honestly, if you only want to do 10-20 lbs of meat a couple times a year, that's all you need.
FWIW, in our area, you don't have to hit many rummage sales to fins a new/virtually new grinder in the box for a few dollars. | |
