My new to me sprayer has red turbo teejet induction on 20" centers. Today i could not get all nozzles to open under 15psi at 10gpa (supposedly 5psi caps) so I had to run over 8-9mph which is too fast for some rough spots. Plan is to switch to blue so i can get higher pressures without becoming airborne in the seat (5-6mph but up to 8 all in the same pass is where I would like to be). It also has the three nozzle turrets and would like to put a good nozzle for liberty in another spigot, using 15gpa, could go to 20 but prefer 15.
The aixr tips look good but so do the XR extended range flats and the turbo twinjet and the greenleaf AM11004. Wide range of prices for this selection but that is not the place to cheap out.
to summarize 10gpa at 5 to 8 mph on burndown
15 (20optional) gpa at same speeds for post liberty
15 gpa post glyphosate on johnsongrass in corn
Need to go on a hour drive to the sprayer store to get some other parts so need to select my choices before I go | |
