
| My understanding has always been, that when manufacturers went to China, one of the provisions was that they gave up some level of IP for access to Chinese manufacturing and Asian markets. I think that at least some of this argument is disingenuous on Oleary's part. Also, the simple answer would simply be - Don't have your stuff manufactured in China. Done. Why did these companies continue to go back to China for manufacturing if this was such a horrible issue? Is China committing IP "theft" or are manufacturers now simply unhappy with the deals that they made? |
