| One thing that stands out to me about this issue is the often-sited question of why tariff the whole world. China has tentacles in just about every country on the planet and certainly in most of the other countries we trade with. So how do you really target China when these other countries also trade with both China and US without creating an enormous arbitrage opportunity for all these other countries? I would hope all these individual trade deals with all these other countries are being used to address this loophole. | |
