Blooming where I am planted! | Oooo, Honeycrisp, my favorite apple...the last 2 years I've gone to a u-pick place and picked 45 pounds or so to keep for fresh eating in the fridge. They fill up the whole drawer and they keep for months. I have about 10 left still from last September. You will definitely need a pollinator with Honeycrisp. Last year when I was ordering trees I made some notes about which varieties will pollinate with Honeycrisp, according to Gurney's. They said that Nova Spy, Gold Rush, Gala, and Sweet 16 will all pollinate with Honeycrisp. They were out of stock of Honeycrisp, so I bought Pixie Crunch and Gold Rush, and will try again for Honeycrisp this year. I got the mini-dwarfs as I'm only on a 1/4 acre lot.
