WCIL | The rockshafts we had bent were actually twisted a little--the axle arm that was welded to it was bent up more than the opposite side. Took shaft off and welder cut the arm off and rewelded it true. We blamed it on a pothole but can't prove it. The 2210 has small individual rockshafts for each wheel set, so less apt to twist maybe? Had a 45 ft Sunflower years ago that was heavy. The rockshaft would twist up and down through the field like a soda can and go deeper on one side and pull sideways.
We've not had the caster issue, but as another poster said they can get crazy when backing up or going over uneven ground and getting airborne, but it lines back up quickly. | |
