WCIL | I don't know about the 2230's but our 2210 is a 2011 and I like the caster wheels. I think the extra wheels to carry the weight in transport is a plus. Also, I think the heavy weight is a plus when you consider the horses we pull these with nowadays. We have bent rockshafts on others when transporting and hitting a hole on the roadside. Ours still has tight shanks and we haven't touched anything on it frame or wheel-wise. We have rebuilt 2 cylinders and redone the 5 bar spike harrow bushings and pull straps twice and just replaced all the teeth this spring. Ours has Accudepth and have not had an issue with it either, but others on here hate them so I hope our luck continues! I see Case IH has a caster wheel version but haven't seen one in operation yet. | |
