| It’s a fact the MAP stuff happened but there was no support for it at all. There’s also a contingent that want Israel destroyed because they think Palestine is experiencing genocide. It’s a fact there are neo nazis in the us, they don’t see support. When I say extremists I don’t mean that the position isn’t held by some people, but that there’s no support among elected politicians.
The DEI boogeyman, I agree with some of your assessments about “merit based hiring.” It’s not supposed to mean you look past merit, you’re just supposed to include everyone in your talent pool. DEI is why Jackie Robinson got in mlb. However these ideas of all merit don’t seem backed up when you look at the hiring practices of this administration…
What I’m referring to is how anytime something bad happens (plane crashes) the first thing we have to do is get pictures of the pilots and if they’re not fit white guys we know they were a DEI hire and shouldn’t have been there.
