Southeast Colorado | Back when Sawyer Brown was barely past winning the Star Search show, they appeared at our Colorado State Fair. They just played a concert for the regular attendees in an open air stage for free so to speak. The crowd gradually gathered as they got to rolling. At tops there was maybe just a few hundred people their watching, since it was an unadvertised event. It was a LOT of fun! They switched over and played rock more than country as the crowd egged them on. It felt really grass roots so to speak. Good times back in the late 80s!!
EDIT: Journey without Steve Perry would just be wrong. Haha
