| I agree that the right does tend to think of things logically. A right leaning person generally thinks if a person has an X and a Y chromosome he would be a man. If a person has two X chromosomes she would be a woman. That type of thing. The left tends think feelings determine a persons sex and as such a person can change their sex at will.
That can definitely lead to different views of USAID. The right thinks that sex is scientifically based and determined by a persons chromosomes so they tend to want to cut funding for transgender surgeries of children in distant countries. They tend to feel that children are too immature and don’t have full control of their feelings and as such can be easily manipulated by adults into thinking they weren’t born in the right body and be talked into life altering surgeries that they might regret when their feelings change as they mature.
The left, who believe that feelings determine a persons sex tend to not have a problem with funding children’s transgender surgeries in distant lands.
Both sides think they are doing what is best for the children, doing the “right” thing, but because of the differences in beliefs their methods differ.
If a person tried to start a parade or anything else like that I am quite certain that government funding and support for an event would be much more available to celebrate the gay community vs to celebrate the straight community. That would qualify as special treatment. The odd thing about the visibility thing is that they are trying to fit into society by standing out and receiving more than others.
The gay community had actually made huge strides in being accepted by the public but that gain is currently very threatened due to the recent addition of the LGBTQ+ community. There was even a push to call pedophiles Minor Attracted People. Delving ever farther into realms that used to be classified as people with mental problems and even into the criminal realms is the reason for the push back. People don’t even really care about men dressing up as women but they had to push it to the point that they were victimized if people didn’t allow them to dance sexually in front of their children. It’s issues like that that make the right leaning people turn against the LGBTQ community. Basically, if the LGBTQ community would respect others that think differently than them they would be left alone. But the LGBTQ community doesn’t accept beliefs different than their own because they push their lifestyle even onto our children.
I told you my position but I will clarify it:
1). I couldn’t care less about a persons sexuality. Have a few in my extended family. Know quite a few more. I judge them by their character, not their sexuality. If you take a good honest look at what you wrote you will see that you yourself are judging people just as harshly as you are accusing of others.
2) You wrote this: supporting candidates or policies that actively seek to discriminate against whatever group of people, then being surprised that group is disgusted by you.
My response would be that those on the left should not support candidates or policies that actively seek to irreversibly alter a child’s gender, actively seek to promote gender confusion in children, actively seek to expose children to sexually charged trans dancers in schools, actively seek to normalize pedophilia, etc, etc, and then be surprised that others are disgusted by you nor is it accurate to believe that it is caused by not caring about others.
As far as your last story it parallels quite well with the pandemic. But I’m not trying to sneakily relate it to the shot Nazi’s. Lol
