coast of Maine | I may be incorrect but I had a similar model.The battery sat in the console just above the shift shafts going into the trans.Take the batt cover and batt out.When you move the super sloppy (was on mine)shift column watch those 3 rods that go into trans,they need to be level before a shift change,one up or down and you enter another gear it will jam dead.It was the first trans I ever had open as it got stuck in gear.Did it in a field.I was 19.Many moons ago,,in fact close to 5 decades,,,hehehhe,,,did learn you could beat the hell out of it and it would fix with out taking the trans top off ..which was almost the entire 3 pt controls,seat etc. | |
