Subject: RE: T Post Insulators

Southern Indiana
I use them and love them. I think they only make the heavy duty now and they are far superior to the lighter duty style. All fence is 3 wire hot wire. Sometimes after a rain or heavy dew you will hear one snapping on a post. If a deer or something hits the fence the lock jaws stay on the fence and you can put it right back up. I wouldn’t even consider using anything else if I can get lock jawz. The only down side I’ve ever seen is they are a little hard to get on the heavy T post. Wearing a glove makes it much better.
