Dust88 - 4/22/2025 10:18 Totally agree. I respect and understand folks need to mourn and cope with the loss, but I’m yet to visit a grave after the funeral in my life. Filling it with trinkets has always seemed disrespectful to the grounds and groundskeeper. Everything about gravesites and burials has always seemed a little selfish to me. Throw me in the trash when I’m dead and have a party.

Same here, was at parent's grave at the funeral, haven't been back to the grave in 15 years. Cemetary is at the church I attended every Sunday since.
There is no need to visit a grave.
I also mowed that graveyard for about 10 years (long before their deaths)  Flowers(other stuff) were allowed about 4 weeks a year, and about 4 weeks after a burial, then everything went in the trash.
