Subject: T Post Insulators

Has anyone used Lock Jawz insulators and liked them?

I have a landlord that insists on using them… But he isn’t the one checking & fixing fence and worrying about cows getting out. I don’t like using steel t posts and I surely wouldn’t choose these insulators.

This pasture is in a deer populated area, and if a deer can’t clear and hits the fence the insulators slide and the fence is on the ground just like that.

Kind of wondering about fixing the non hot wires to the posts in a different way so that I can keep a couple wires standing at all times even if the insulators want to slide. Have also considered putting a wood post every XXX’ that all wires can be fixed to hopefully keep them in the air better.

Curious to hear other’s thoughts/experiences
