Read earlier this " how to get the bolt out when it is stuck?" We loosen the nut till it is flush with the top of the bolt. Yes, sometimes need a little heat.
We then get a solid bar 5 or 6 feet long and a steel post driver. Put the steel post driver on the flush nut and bolt, upside down, and use the solid bar to beat the nut out. Works every time for us.
