SW Iowa | Huge improvement on our 693 head and never have issues with tillage equipment where needed. We are minimum tillage but big fan of Calmer rolls. Currently at 330 ac/row and I don't see the need to replace anytime soon. I have noticed that corn variety makes a big difference in stalk processing. Stringy or spongy varieties don't get cut off as evenly as others. Field looks just as good as a chopping head when finished in my opinion. | |
