 South Bend. Indiana | Hello,
We’ve got a 1997 John Deere 8100 with around 7,700 hours. At startup, it blows a pretty decent cloud of white smoke out the exhaust, nothing crazy though. It also blows a little white smoke any time you throttle it up, whether the engine is cold or warm, but once it's sitting at any RPM under no load, it doesn’t blow any smoke at all.
When the tractor is under load, though, you can see a light whitish tint in the exhaust, especially under the right lighting. I'm guessing it might be needing a new set of injectors, but I’m curious what else could be causing this.
Thanks in advance for any input.
Edit: I've attached a video of what it seems to be doing when throttling up. Also, the tractor dose not burn any coolant, and no water is getting into the oil.
