What I would disagree with you on is that the left hasn’t “stacked” the universities from the top down, it’s been an organic shift.
Most republicans believe college is a scam and anything to do with arts or humanities is a gay waste of time, and drill this into their friends, peers, kids heads - then they wonder why college is full of left leaning people.
Also being in college can cause a general shift to the left just because of being exposed to all new types of people and ideas while realizing they’re just humans too not boogeymen.
However contradictory to what I said here the younger crowd has actually been shifting right, so maybe the correction is happening naturally.
The left runs on government grift, colleges are trending that way too. More left, more grift, which draws more left, which draws more grift. It’s a natural cycle.
