| What I would disagree with you on is that the left hasn’t “stacked” the universities from the top down, it’s been an organic shift.
Most republicans believe college is a scam and anything to do with arts or humanities is a gay waste of time, and drill this into their friends, peers, kids heads - then they wonder why college is full of left leaning people.
Also being in college can cause a general shift to the left just because of being exposed to all new types of people and ideas while realizing they’re just humans too not boogeymen.
However contradictory to what I said here the younger crowd has actually been shifting right, so maybe the correction is happening naturally. | |
