East Central Nebraska | Hi All, older neighbor has a Ag tronix 2 9000 monitor on a 8 row kinze planter. First monitor he has had. He did it the old fashioned way before and got out and dug. Any rate, he just bought a Kinze planter on an estate auction and it had this monitor. I don't got time to read the manual and he doesn't understand it. I did a quick peak at it and looks like the set up is good ( 8 rows/ 30 in/ has a speed cal in there). He went out and planted a 40 and thought it is planting accurate, just didn't turn on the monitor. He doesn't care if it shows population, he just wants it to read if it is planting or not. How do you get it into plant mode. I just looked at it for 5 minutes is all. I run a dickey john 3000, so I'm not familiar with anything newer but usually can figure stuff out. Maybe we need to sit down and read, but I going to need a rainy day before that happens and I have several rainy day projects before I get to him. But hopefully something simple that we are missing.
