Warning lights and cross arms aren't always the answer, I waited for a west bound train to go by , two tracks and arms went up so I started across with a semi and gravel trailer. I hadn't got the tractor past the arms and they came down and a train was coming from the west which was hid by the west bound one. A quick reverse with arm between the cab and trailer saved the day.
