Don’t grease them very much.  Like 1x per season a couple pumps.  

you can buy 5 lip seals or whatever the words are instead of 3 lip ones.  

I ordered a bunch of 5 lip ones from the big bearing store a couple years ago and haven’t really had much trouble since.
