Well the correct solution is obvious to me, take the money saved from leasing the replacement, and use buy a new trans. Could even be money ahead. And hopefully sell it/trade it for a ford If it was my granddaughter, and this is that important to me that she continue down this path, I’d be getting my own checkbook out. Problem solved.
