That's why I kinda did but I opened the bleeders at the top of the cylinders. It bleeds the fluid out and gets where it needs to be. Then when I pick the planter up and lower it back down it stops in the position it was in before. I know the tires are supposed to touch the ground because it was a ground driven planter but it has probably 3-4 inches left at the bottom on the cylinder shaft. Wouldn't think it should be that much...
