Colfax Indiana | My mother passed in 11/23. Hadn’t been to our cemetery a lot until she was buried ther. The board that oversees this cemetery has changed. Paperwork when you buy the plot has some rules but now nothing being inforced. My question is anyone just seeing anything and everything around burial spots like we have. Many have solar lights, many have just items to whatever person was into just stuck in the ground around headstone and this one had a bright green dinosaur bout 6 ft tall. One has like 25 tall tiki torches in a circle around the stone. Each ther own on grieving ther lost love one. But this place used to be manicured to the hilt. Now these decorations are hindering the mowing and weedeating. Rules as you enter says no one to be ther after dark. Not uncommon to have people setting out in car after dark. Other cemeteries in the area would not allow any of this. The new norm ?
