I have two lines that rubbed together and are leaking. Can I weld a bead over the rubbed spot or braze? Will there be any problems with such a repair. Parts are NLA and haven’t had any luck at the salvage yards. What are your thoughts?
Have replace sections of several leaking steel lines on MF tractors with hydraulic hose and compression fittings. As long as there is a straight section of steel line in good condition this has worked well.
Brazing would work as well.
