I don’t know where from but pre Covid when a pipeline was getting replaced through my area a local tire dealer told me many of the welding trucks (dually with flatbeds then outfitted with welding stuff) were rented or leased. They wanted the trucks outfitted with bigger mud tires, but cause of rental/lease, not allowed. Drivers handed him cash and said do it, no need for lease co to be involved. | |
