| I live in the land of Fruits and Nuts, other wise known as California.
Creosote was deemed toxic when I was a kid in the 1960's. Maybe the railroads and utilities company's managed to use it longer. But all products sold to the building industry since have been hit and miss. Some worked, so it seems they needed to go away as toxic too. Some never did much to start with. Some of the green treated wood fence post would last if pressure treated to get the compound all the way to the center. | |
